A six-month mentorship for practitioners who are ready to get out of their own way and build a business and practice on their own terms.

Most practitioners don’t have an information problem, they have a trust problem.
They’ve done the training, invested in themselves and care deeply about the people they support. Many have spent years gathering knowledge, refining their skills and trying to build a sustainable practice, yet despite all of that they often find themselves stuck.
They know what they want to build.
They know the work they want to do.
They know the impact they want to make.
Yet somehow they find themselves circling around it rather than fully stepping into it.
I’ve met practitioners with years of training who still don’t feel ready. Talented, thoughtful and deeply caring people who have spent years preparing for work they were ready to do long ago.
And they are not holding back because they lack knowledge or skill, but because they are waiting for a feeling of readiness that never seems to arrive.
The feeling that now, finally, they know enough.
That now, finally, they have the permission they need.
The problem is that permission rarely arrives from the outside.
What I see instead is people handing their authority to another course, another modality, another expert or another piece of paper, all the while wondering why they still don’t feel ready.
Meanwhile the business they want to build remains largely unchanged.
The practice they dream about stays in the future.
Or the vision they keep talking about remains a dream and never gets actioned.
Why? It’s not because they aren’t capable (even though they may think so), it’s because they keep getting in their own way.
That’s why I created The Incubator.

The Incubator helps practitioners gain the clarity, self-trust and momentum needed to build the business and practice they know they’re capable of building.
The Incubator is a six-month journey for practitioners, coaches, therapists and counsellors who are ready to trust themselves more deeply, finally grant themselves the permission they’ve been waiting for, and build the business and practice they know they’re capable of building.
“Madelaine holds the safest of spaces and allows so much room for self-exploration and expression. She leads with heart, creating the foundations for vulnerability, safety and compassion. I learnt so much about myself, leadership and counselling skills.”
— Alex
During our time together, you’ll be part of a small group of practitioners who, like you, are here to build something meaningful. Through honest conversations, deep reflection, practical action and meaningful growth, you’ll gain clarity on what you’re actually trying to build, identify what’s getting in the way, and minimise the gap between where you are now and where you want to be.
Together we’ll get clear on what you’re trying to create, what matters most, and what success looks like for you. We’ll look at what’s getting in the way, what keeps repeating, and what continues to pull you away from the things you say you want.

We’ll spend time looking at the business and practice you’re building, what’s already there, what wants to grow, and what needs your attention if it’s going to become something more than a future plan.
We’ll also explore the leadership required to hold yourself, hold your vision and hold others as your work grows.
“This isn’t what I expected at all. This is so much more. It wasn’t learning – it was transformation… The power of doing it in a group is like 100 times more powerful. I’ve already seen a shift and how I show up.”
– Michael Ferraris
Along the way there will be regular opportunities for deep 1:1 coaching, honest conversations, support and accountability, all within a small group of people who are committed to doing the work and moving forward.
Because sooner or later, whatever is getting in your own way finds its way into everything else.
This journey isn’t about learning more, but about building the trust, courage and capacity needed to create the business and practice you were born to build.
Because ultimately, the work is not simply about building a business. It’s about becoming the person who can build it.
What to Expect
The Incubator is not another training program.
The assumption is that you already know a great deal. You have completed training, developed skills and gathered knowledge along the way.
What many practitioners need is not more information, but greater trust in themselves and the courage to act on what they already know.
This means our time together will not be spent simply discussing ideas or collecting insights.
We will explore what you’re trying to build, what matters most to you, what keeps getting in the way, and what is required to move forward.
At times this will involve looking at patterns, beliefs, fears, assumptions and blind spots. After all, whatever gets in your way personally has a tendency to show up professionally as well.
Everything is connected.
But this is not personal development for its own sake.
The purpose is not endless self-analysis.
The purpose is to help you become a more effective leader of your work, your vision, your business and your practice.
Throughout the journey there will be reflection, honest conversations, coaching, challenge, support and accountability, and…. there will also be action.
You will be encouraged to make decisions, have conversations, experiment with new approaches, test ideas and take meaningful steps towards the business and practice you want to create.
This is a space for practitioners who are ready to move beyond preparation and into participation.
People who know there is something they are here to build and are willing to do the work required to bring it into the world.
If you’re ready to trust yourself more deeply, step into leadership and actively build what you know you’re capable of creating, you’ll feel right at home.
“Madelaine’s work is brave, inspirational, grounding, challenging and profoundly life-changing. She creates and holds a safe space with respect and compassion. Her approach has led to significant change and a deep, embodied knowing.”
– Susan
Why The Incubator
Over the past two decades I have worked with practitioners, therapists, coaches, leaders, founders and creatives from many different walks of life.
I’ve trained and supported thousands of students, built successful businesses, guided practitioners as they established and grew their work, and spent countless hours coaching people through the challenges that arise when building something meaningful.
Along the way I’ve had a front-row seat to what helps people thrive and what keeps them stuck.
I’ve seen talented practitioners struggle to back themselves.
I’ve seen people with remarkable skill remain hidden because they never fully trusted their own voice.
I’ve seen others build thriving practices not because they knew more than everyone else, but because they were willing to take action, make decisions, learn as they went and trust themselves along the way.
I’ve also built businesses of my own.
I understand the excitement, uncertainty, responsibility and self-doubt that can accompany creating something from the ground up. I know what it feels like to carry a vision, question yourself, change direction, make mistakes and keep moving forward.
In The Incubator I bring everything I’ve learned through my own journey as a practitioner, educator, mentor, business owner and creative.
This knowledge is informed not only by training and qualifications, but by years of real-world experience supporting people as they navigate the complexities of building meaningful work.
My role is not to tell you what to build or how to do it.
My role is to help you see more clearly, trust yourself more deeply, and develop the courage, capacity and leadership required to bring your vision into the world.
